Thank God for another wonderful night of ministry to the South Miami community.

I could not have done this without the dedicated church members of Higher Praise & Worship Center COGOP who donated snacks, toys, and served alongside me tonight. Thank you.

A big thank you to our ministry partners as well. The South Miami Police Department - Chief Reo Hatfield, Genaro Chip Iglesias Jr. - South Miami City Manager, The American Legion Post 31, District 7 Commissioner Raquel Regalado, The South Miami Black Cultural Affairs Foundation- Levi Kelly Business Manager, Deborah Powel - Director, and James McCants. These individuals and organizations allowed us to serve snacks, hot chocolate, share bags of groceries and supply toys to our South Miami Community.

God is good. May he bless you all abundantly this Christmas season and throughout the New Year.

We are still enjoying the ministry of the Bahama Brass Band.

On Saturday Higher Praise hosted its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon and it was a wonderful day of ministry to the community. While some served a meal, others took the time to share the gospel of Jesus.

I want to give a special thank you to Minister Donna Brown McClain who is the director of our meal and beverage team, and her team. Leda Oderman, who assisted with Spanish interpretation and the Higher Praise church family for donating groceries, and cooking and serving the community. Your heart for service will be rewarded.

A great big thank you to our partners, Commissioner Raquel Regalado for your bag of goodies including a frozen ham, The City of South Miami - for your canned goods and vegetables and Publix - our Gratitude Sponsor - your financial support is appreciated. I am forever grateful for your partnership.

This day would not have been a success without all of you and I give God praise for each of you.

Please continue praying for us as we follow God’s command to love him and love others.

Over 200 meals served and received groceries and 50 plus turkeys distributed.

The Higher Praise and Worship Center church family closed out the month of Clergy Appreciation by showing our love to every minister who serves in the local church.

I am grateful to God for these men and women of God who serve with excellence and integrity alongside me. We are not perfect, but we are surrendered to God and His people, and we are determined to serve faithfully.

Today the Higher Praise and Worship Center church family was privileged to host the South Miami Police Department’s Chief, Rio Hatfield, his wife Georgia and daughter Ale, Captain Junior Vijil, and Lieutenant Jesus Aguiar for their Faith and Blue initiative.

Their mission is aimed at building “safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations.” (Faithandblue.org).

It was also wonderful to have our community residents Mr. And Mrs. Sid Kaskey with us.

We had an awesome time of worship and fellowship!

Dr. Tamonya Sands also took the time to educate us on Breast Cancer Awareness and why women and men should complete routine exams, and follow-up with a physician when abnormalities are noticed. Early detection saves lives.

It was a great day in the Lord. Please help me to pray for the SMPD that God will continue to protect them as they protect our community.

We had an awesome day in the house of the Lord. The men lead us into a time of worship and praise. Under the direction of Deacon Osborne J. Mcduffie McClain and assistant Minister Rohan Bloomfield.

I am also thankful to have added 1 new member to the Higher Praise Family. Join me in welcoming Joshua Prabahar. We give God praise for what he is doing among us!

Thank you Commissioner Raquel Regalado and Alejandro Servalli, community liaison...for partnering with us to do this Time Share opportunity for the South Miami Community. We gave out over 400 packages of food today.

We also gave away clothing and shoes that were donated by the United Community Bank and toys donated by The South Miami Police Department.

Thank you to the Miami-Dade Community College students and the South Miami resident that assisted us today.

Thank you Higher Praise & Worship Center COGOP I am grateful for all that you do to spread the love of Jesus in tangible ways and how you also share his plan of salvation.

Please continue praying for us that we stay in the will of the Lord.
